Lemur Island Reserve, Madagascar

We visited a small reserve called Lemur Island. To get there, a local guide takes you in a canoe boat. It is beautiful and the only animals there are lemurs plus some bugs and spiders. The lemurs on this island are very tame and will jump on your shoulder and accept bananas. Our guide brought bananas with him and fed them to the lemurs so they would stick around and pose for us.
