Our last stop in South Madagascar before returning to the capital, Antananaviro, was Toliara. Our hotel was next to Arboretum d'Antsokay. We spent a couple of hours there on a tour of the grounds. They have a small museum with an excellent collection of old pictures, folk music instruments, mineral rocks, and sea shells. This arboretum is definitely worth the visit.
