Groups of Indris have a unique territorial call to tell everyone else in the forest that they are there. The call starts with one or two Indri and then gradually builds to a loud call that likely includes everyone in the area. It is really quite anazing to hear it. Here is a short recording:

They are very shy and fearful of humans. They did not like the tourists under their tree so they jumped from tree to tree and were gone in seconds.
